Don't flunk the 2017-2018 flu season

 The fall season: cooler temps, pumpkin lattes, leaves a changin' (well, not in Texas) and... the flu. Yes, that gnarly virus that tends to creep it's way into our world and disrupt us with fever, chills, aches, and potentially even worse symptoms depending on what shape we're in.

That said, the 2017-2018 flu season is predicted to a tough one. The Baylor College of Medicine is believes it could be severe.

“There is every reason to expect that we could have a severe flu season this year,” said Dr. Robert Atmar, professor and interim chief of the section of infectious diseases at Baylor. “It’s always hard to predict what is going to happen, but people should be prepared.”
